1. Scope and relationship to the Terms of Service

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) forms part of the DailyPay NG Terms of Service and applies to every person who accesses or uses the DailyPay NG application (the “Platform”), whether as a Client requesting services or as an Artisan offering them. Terms defined in the Terms of Service carry the same meaning here.

DailyPay NG is a marketplace that connects Clients with independent Artisans providing skilled trade services — including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, mechanical repair, hairdressing and beauty services, cleaning, and dispatch riding. This Policy sets out what may lawfully and safely be offered and requested through that marketplace.

Breach of this Policy may result in the removal of a listing or job, the withholding of funds pending investigation, suspension, or permanent termination of an account, and where appropriate, referral to the Nigeria Police Force or other competent authority.

2. Services that may be offered

APPLIES TO: ARTISANS

Artisans may offer only skilled trade and personal services that they are lawfully entitled to perform, that they are competent to perform, and that fall within a service category published on the Platform. Where a trade requires a licence, certification, or regulatory registration under Nigerian law, the Artisan must hold that credential and must produce it on request.

An Artisan is verified for each craft separately. An Artisan verified for one craft must not accept, or attempt to accept, work in a craft for which they have not been verified.

3. Prohibited services and requests

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

The following must not be offered, requested, advertised, solicited, or performed through the Platform:

Any service that is unlawful under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, or that facilitates or conceals an unlawful act;

Sexual services, escort services, or any service of a sexual nature, whether or not lawful in any jurisdiction;

Medical, dental, surgical, veterinary, or pharmaceutical services, including the administration of injections, prescription of medicines, or any procedure requiring a clinical licence;

Legal, accounting, tax, investment, or financial advisory services;

Debt collection, repossession, private security, bodyguarding, bouncing, or any service involving the use or threat of force;

Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, or the modification, repair, or transport of any of them;

The manufacture, supply, transport, or administration of controlled drugs or precursor chemicals;

Electrical, gas, or structural work that the Artisan is not qualified to perform and that would create a foreseeable risk of injury, fire, or collapse;

The bypassing, tampering with, or unauthorised reconnection of any electricity, water, or gas meter or supply;

Duplication of keys, locks, access cards, or entry to any premises without the documented authority of the owner or lawful occupier;

Services involving live animals for fighting, baiting, or any purpose causing unnecessary suffering;

Childcare, tutoring, or any service where the Artisan would be left unsupervised with a person under 18 or a vulnerable adult;

Any service that would require the Artisan to hold, transmit, exchange, or convert money or value on behalf of another person.

4. Prohibited items for delivery and dispatch

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

Where the Platform is used to arrange a dispatch or delivery job, the items listed in the Delivery Policy as prohibited must not be sent, accepted, carried, or handed over. That list forms part of this Policy and is enforceable in the same way.

5. Conduct required of all users

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

You must not:

Provide false, misleading, or borrowed identity information, or complete identity verification using another person's document, face, or bank account;

Operate more than one account, or create a new account after a suspension or termination;

Allow another person to use your account, or perform work under an account registered to someone else;

Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, defame, or discriminate against any other user, on any ground including sex, ethnicity, religion, disability, or state of origin;

Enter or remain on any premises without the consent of the lawful occupier, or refuse to leave when asked;

Photograph, record, or share images of another user, their home, their family, or their property beyond what is necessary to evidence the job, and never for publication;

Use contact details, addresses, or any other information obtained through the Platform for marketing, solicitation, or any purpose other than completing the job in question;

Attend a job while under the influence of alcohol or of any drug that impairs safe performance;

Carry a weapon to a job.

6. Platform integrity and payment conduct

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

You must not:

Create false jobs, false bookings, or false reviews, or arrange with another user to do so, whether to inflate ratings, claim promotional credit, or for any other purpose;

Use the Platform's wallet, escrow, or payout functions for any purpose other than paying for or receiving payment for a genuine job performed through the Platform;

Attempt to use a wallet balance as a store of value, a means of transferring value to another person, or a substitute for a bank or payment service. Wallet balances exist solely to settle jobs booked on the Platform and to be withdrawn to the account holder's own verified bank account;

Use a payment card, bank account, or bank verification detail belonging to another person, or that you are not authorised to use;

Structure, split, or otherwise arrange bookings or top-ups to disguise the source, ownership, or destination of funds;

Attempt to obtain a refund, chargeback, or cancellation for a job that was in fact performed, or to deny receipt of work that was delivered;

Reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or interfere with the Platform or its infrastructure, or attempt to access any account, record, or data that is not your own.

7. Safety obligations

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

Artisans must carry out work to a reasonable standard of skill and care, use appropriate protective equipment, and stop work where continuing would create a serious risk to any person or to the property.

Clients must not require an Artisan to work in conditions that are unsafe, or to perform work outside the craft for which the Artisan is verified.

Either party may end a job at any point where they reasonably believe their personal safety is at risk, and must report the circumstances to us. Reports of this kind are reviewed by our team as a priority, and the cancellation rules in the Refunds and Cancellations Policy are applied in light of the safety concern rather than mechanically.

8. Reporting and enforcement

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

Any user may report a breach of this Policy from within the application, or by writing to support@dailypayng.com. Reports may be made about a specific job, a message, or a user.

We review every report. Depending on what we find, we may take any of the following steps: remove content or a listing; require an Artisan to re-verify a craft; restrict an account's ability to book or accept work; withhold funds relating to a specific job pending the outcome of an investigation; suspend an account temporarily; terminate an account permanently; or report the matter to the police or another competent authority.

We take the least restrictive step that adequately addresses the risk, except where there is an immediate danger to a person, in which case we act first and review afterwards. Where we withhold funds relating to a job, we tell the affected user that we have done so and why.

Where an account is suspended or terminated, any wallet balance that is lawfully due to that user remains due, and is paid out to their verified bank account once any open dispute or investigation concerning it has been resolved. Suspension is not a forfeiture of funds.

9. Appeals

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

If your account is restricted, suspended, or terminated under this Policy, you may appeal by writing to support@dailypayng.com within 30 days. Your appeal will be reviewed by a member of our team who was not involved in the original decision, and you will receive a written outcome.

10. Changes to this Policy

APPLIES TO: ALL USERS (CLIENTS AND ARTISANS)

We may update this Policy as the Platform changes or as the law requires. Where a change materially reduces what is permitted, we will give notice in the application before it takes effect. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
